With no previous experience needed, Videography: Shot on iPhone introduces students to the elements of film production and storytelling. Students work independently on several short-form projects, including producing a movie trailer and a stop motion film. For a final project, students engage in the short film production process, moving from generating story ideas to designing shots to storyboarding and pre- and post-production.
In Videography: Shot on iPhone II, students explore the production process through the application of multimedia production software as they take one concept from pre-production to a final short film. Students will brainstorm story ideas, create a storyboard, consider locations and shots, build a theoretical budget and write a full script. Students will premier their final films at a school film screening as well as submit their films to student short-film festivals.
